1. Who we are

Vet Help Clinic (“we”, “us”, “Vet Help Clinic”) is a veterinary clinic located at 45 Ahmed Orabi Street, Mohandiseen, Giza, Egypt. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website (https://vethelpclinic.com).

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you interact with our website, we may collect:

  • Analytics data — pages visited, device type, approximate location (country/city), referring URL, time on page. Collected via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
  • Advertising data — click IDs (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid), UTM parameters. Collected via Google Ads tags and Meta Pixel.
  • Contact interactions — when you click WhatsApp or phone CTAs, we log the interaction as an anonymised event.
  • Voluntary data — if you reach us via WhatsApp, phone, or in person, we process the information you share (pet name, species, medical history, your name, phone) for the purpose of providing veterinary care.

3. Legal basis

  • Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); Egypt PDPL Art. 2) — for analytics and advertising cookies, which load only after you accept our cookie banner.
  • Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — for core security headers, error logs, and abuse prevention.
  • Contract / pre-contract — for the veterinary-care data you share in order to book or receive treatment.

4. How long we keep data

  • Website analytics: 14 months (GA4 default).
  • Microsoft Clarity session recordings: 13 months.
  • Meta Pixel events: per Meta's retention schedule.
  • Medical records (held separately in the clinic): retained for the period required by Egyptian veterinary practice law.

5. Who we share with

We share only what's necessary with the following processors:

  • Google LLC — Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager (analytics + advertising).
  • Microsoft Corporation — Microsoft Clarity (session recording, heatmaps).
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — Meta Pixel (ad measurement).
  • Vercel Inc. — hosting and CDN.

These processors may transfer data outside Egypt (primarily to the United States). Transfers occur under the processors' published Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

6. Your rights

Under Egypt's PDPL (Law 151/2020) and the EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (via our cookie banner or by contacting us).
  • Port your data to another controller.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Egyptian Data Protection Center or your local supervisory authority.

7. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete the record.

8. Security

We use HTTPS with HSTS, a strict Content Security Policy, and limit access to personal data on a need-to-know basis inside the clinic team.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on this page for at least 30 days.
